Ukraine Humanitarian Support 

At the outset of the war in Ukraine, we provided in-country hazard assessments for several organisations preparing to venture across borders to perform services and support.

It should be noted here that UMI is an apolitical organisation who concentrates their efforts on aiding the oppressed, irrespective of nationality, religion, culture, or gender.

This included employing local resources as interpreters, drivers, medics and liaisons from International Aid Agencies, Ukraine Law Enforcement and other govt organisations and departments.

Working with several individual volunteer groups, UMI coordinated training for local support teams, facilitated trauma and medical support training, and provided support for the movement and distribution of humanitarian aid.

UMI coordinated and conducted the extraction of evacuees from Russian temporarily held territory in Ukraine in addition to providing the logistics and support for refugees from Ukraine.  UMI supports several refugee relief agencies around Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States.
